Her Name!

This is the first time that she has written her name! She especially struggles with 'S' and after she wrote this couldnt quite get it right again. She had the hugest grin when she wrote it, knowing she had done such a fabulous job :-D So Proud!

Guess what Alex did yesterday...

I thought Alex was with Chris and he probably thought he was with me.

Meanwhile, Alex was very quietly playing in the bathroom completely filling the toilet up with the bathmat.

Lovely.

Luckily he hasnt figured out how to flush things yet...

Fun at the Cabin

Spent the weekend at the cabin with Mom, Dad, and Aunt Kathy. Weather was hot & sunny with a few very windy days. Enjoyed a boat ride with everyone - was curious how Alex would do since the last (and first time) he was in the boat he screamed so hard we turned around and headed home. Alex slept in my arms the entire time - not an easy thing since he's getting to be such a big boy! Lots of time spent on the beautiful beach digging holes, splashing, eating shovelfuls of sand, making birthday cakes (no sandcastles for my girl, just cakes). Alex has become very fearless of the water suddenly and kept me busy as he was darting into the waves every chance he got. Summer Memories :-)
